    Description: Read the Petition of John Buckle, 37 years of age, of the Parish of Mary-le-bone, discharged from the Portland Hulk on Sunday the 8th. Instant 11 months of his confinement having been remitted him. He lived as under Groom to the late Duke of Gloster 6 years; with Genl. Morshead 2 years & 8 months, in the Capacity of Groom; And he was living in the same condition with Miss Gwynn, when he was apprehended for selling his Old Livery, committed to Prison, & sentenced to the Hulks for seven years. The Committee were of opinion, that his tale was artless & that he was deserving of some attention. Resolved, that 7/ be presented him with the permission (should he not have obtained employment previously) to renew his petition to the next Committee.
