I am in the service of Mr. NicholasMorritt; he is a pawnbroker                  . On the 1st of October, these boots were hanging with some other boots and shoes at his door - I saw the prisoner come into the shop, take these boots, and walk out with them under his arm - I followed him about forty yards, and took him with them - he said, he was distressed.</p>               <p>                                                WILLIAM                   HORSFORD                                                                                        (police-sergeant D 6).
