102. (L.) Joseph Guest , was indicted for stealing 2 pair of silver shoe buckles, value 20 s. 5 silver knee buckles, value 10 s. 1 odd shoe buckle, 1 silver watch, 1 silver seal, 1 pair of sleeve buttons, 1 gold ring , the goods of Basil Den , Dec. 30 . +

Samuel Bubb . The prisoner gave me these goods mentioned in the indictment, to keep for him till he could have an opportunity to send them where he intended.

Basil Den . The prisoner was my servant . The goods are my property, I believe it is the first fact he ever committed of this nature.

Prisoner. I have nothing to say for myself.
