Mary Haynes, Theft > grand larceny, 7th December 1709.

Mary Haynes , of St. Martins in the Fields , Spinster , was Indicted for feloniously stealing a brass Pail, value 12 s. the Goods of the Rt. Hon. the Countess of Dalkieth , on the 27th of August last. It appear'd that the Goods being lost, the Prisoner was apprehended upon Suspition, who before the Justice confess'd the Fact, the Jury found her guilty to the value of 10 d.
