2959. ELIZA TRIGG was indicted for stealing, on the 6th of October, 1 bonnet, value 1s. 6d., the goods of William Burlenson.

WILLIAM HAYES . I am shopman to William Burlenson, who lives in Manor-place, Chelsea. On the 6th of October this bonnet hung outside hit window—I missed it, and saw the prisoner drop it.

CHARLES BUNTING . I was standing near the shop—I saw a woman, who is not here, pull down the bonnet, and the prisoner carried it away—I informed the shopman—he ran after her.

GUILTY.* Aged 19.—Recommended to mercy. — Confined Six Months.
