1377. MARY ANN LEAVER was indicted for the wilful murder of a certain female child.
(The prisoner had been delivered of an illegitimate child, which was discovered in the privy of her mother's house. Upon the evidence of Mr. Thomas Light, surgeon, of Woolwich, there was no proof of its having been born alive. The evidence being of a nature unfit for publication, is omitted.)
