624. ELIZABETH RICE was indicted for stealing, on the 26th day of June last, one linnen towel, value 6 d. one counterpane, value 1 s. a muslin cap, value 1 s. two aprons, value 2 s. a pair of sheets, value 3 s. half a yard of dimity muslin, value 1 s. a napkin, value 6 d. a handkerchief value
9 d. a table cloth, value 18 d. a muslin handkerchief, value 1 s. the property of Joseph Colleys .William Christie , a pawn-broker, produced a cap and an apron, that were pawned by the prisoner, and belonged to the prosecutrix, whose servant she was.
The prisoner pleaded illness and distress.
