The Prosecutor said, That as he was going home with his Coach, he met 2 Women, who askt him to give them a Cast home in his Coach, and they would give him a Pot, which accordingly he did; and they went into an Ale-house, and the Prisoner called for some Drink, and put her Hand into his Pocket, and took his Money, and he asking what that was for, she took the Pot to strike him in the Face, upon which, he went to the Watch, and charged them with her, who sent her to Prison. She denied the Fact, saying, She went out, and left the Prisoner and the other Woman together, and when she came back, the Woman was gone, upon which he laid hold of her; but the the Prosecutor was positive to the contrary.
