William Hitchcock and H - G - were Indicted for Assaulting and secretly taking from John Hatchet two Exchequer-Bills . It appeared that the Prosecutor having just received his Pay as a Mariner , was stopt by the Prisoners, and the Bills taken from him by Holmes, who was known to be an old Offender, and Hitchcock of the same Gang: They were found Guilty of the Trespass and Assault.
