I immediately pursued her, and stopped her about two or three doors from our shop; she dropped the sheeting. I brought her back to the shop; some of our young men assisted me. The prisoner was carrying the sheeting in her arms before her. This is the sheeting, I can swear it is my master's property. It has his private mark upon it. It is of the value of 4 l. It is fifty-six yards of Russia sheeting. The house is in the parish of St. Andrew's, Holborn.</p>
<p>The prisoner said nothing in her defence, nor called any witnesses to her character.</p>
