<join result="offencePlace" targOrder="Y" targets="t17980912-4-off16 t17980912-4-crimeloc18"/>: On the 12th of July, the prisoner came in to buy a yard and a half of ribbon, I shewed him a box of ribbon, I asked him eight-pence a yard; he said if I would take less he would be a very good customer; after I had cut it, he said he would not give more than five-pence, then he asked me for some more; he then wanted a black box; I shewed him a black box; then he wanted the other box back again, and he offered me five-pence again; I told him he was very troublesome, and then he went away; I suspected he had been robbing me, and I went after him up Angel-alley, I told him he had been robbing me; he said he had not, and I put my hand in his pocket, and took out four pieces of ribbon of mine.</p>
