<p>Prisoner. Did not you deliver the Horses to me to carry them to Cheshunt Marsh?</p>
<p>Beckley. Yes; The Prisoner was my next Door Neighbour in Carbuncle Street in Chesunt.</p>

I gave a Guinea for him. About a Fortnight afterwards, Beckley claimed the Horse, and I told him if it was his he should have it.</p>

<interp inst="t17350522-21-person203" type="gender" value="male"/> </persName> . I took the Prisoner for a very honest Man, he offered to sell me a little Gray Horse twelve Hands high for 10 s. He said he bought it at Enfield for 15 s. before Christmas. I bid him 7 s. and he took the Money.</p>
<p>Prisoner. The Prosecutor gave me leave to put the Horses in the Marsh.</p>
<p>Court. But who gave you leave to take them out?</p>
<p>Prisoner. Really I can't tell that.</p>
<p>Mr. Taverner. The Prisoner was my Tenant at forty five Shillings a Year, I thought him a very honest Man.</p>

<p>' That about two Months ago he stole a Grey Horse, and sold him the same Day to
