Elinor Ray was indicted for feloniously stealing a Black and White Gown and Petticoat, value 50 s. a Black Silk Petticoat, 20 s. and 10 s. in Money , the Goods and Money of William Green , on the 2d of May last. It appear'd, that the Prisoner work'd for the Prosecutor, but on the Date aforesaid, she got the Key of the Chamber where the Goods were, went in, took them and fled. It further appear'd, that when she was taken, she confess'd the Fact, the Jury found her Guilty to the value of 10 d.
