762. ANNE DOHERTY (33) , Feloniously attempting to set fire to a house, and thereby to kill and murder Patrick Doherty, other counts for setting fire to the dwelling-house of Patrick Doherty, he being therein.
MR. A. B. KELLY conducted the Prosecution; and MR. AUSTIN METCALFE the Defence.
MR. KELLY stated that the prosecutor being the prisoner's husband, he could only be a witness against her upon the first count, and as the evidence was not sufficient to sustain that count he withdrew from the prosecution.
