1039. ELIZABETH HARPER was indicted for stealing, on the 13th of May , a watch, value 20 s.; a chain, value 1 s.; a seal, value 3 s. 6 d., and a key, value 1 s. 6 d., the goods of John Christopher , from his person .

JOHN CHRISTOPHER. I live at Mr. Carlile's, in Fleet-street. On the 13th of May, between eleven and twelve o'clock at night, I was going home, and stopped at the corner of a passage on Snowhill .
