EDWARD TICKNER . I am servant to William West, who lives in Bride-lane, Fleet-street; the prisoner generally dealt at our shop. On the 11th of July she came for a calf-skin, while she was looking at some, I saw her put something under her clothes; after rolling it up she sent me into the back shop for some sheep skins, while I was there I saw her put something under her clothes again, I called her into the counting-house, and charged her with the robbery - She acknowledged having took one, and produced it from her pocket - I sent for an officer; before he came I saw her throw a calf-skin from under her clothes.

(Property produced and sworn to.)

Confined One Month . GUILTY . Aged 45.

London Jury, before Mr. Recorder.
