486, 487. WILLIAM HURST and JOHN MAYO were indicted for assaulting Joseph Collins with certain offensive weapons called knives, with a felonious intent to steal the monies of the said Joseph from his person, against the statute , May the 24th .

"It appeared upon the evidence that the

"prisoners are coachmen; they had a dispute

"about a watch which was in the possession

"of the prosecutor; the prisoners stopped him,

"and Hurst insisted upon having the watch

"he had given the other to pawn; but

"there did not appear to be any felonious

"intention."

BOTH NOT GUILTY .

Tried by the First Middlesex Jury before Mr. RECORDER.
