Samuel Ellis , of the Parish of St. Pauls Covent Garden , was indicted for privately stealing 1 Silver and Mother-of-Pearl Snuff-box, value 10 s. from the Person of John Salt , on the 14th Instant. It was very plain, that the Prisoner pick'd Mr. Salt's Pocket coming out of the Play-house, and that he afterwards dropt the Box. The Prisoner but denied the Fact, and was found Guilty of the Indictment.
