John Brush , of the Parish of St. Giles Cripplegate , was indicted for stealing 30 Dozen of Button, value 15 s. the Goods of Daniel Gill , on the 15th of March last. The Prosecutor swore, That the Buttons being lost, and the Prisoner gone out; and being suspected, when he came home he was seiz'd, and own'd the Fact; whereupon he was found Guilty to the value of 10 d.
