  Elizabeth Evers and   Hannah Evers , were both Indicted for Stealing a Shirt, 4 Bottles of Brandy, 15s. in Mony, some Child-bed-Linnen, a Cloath Coat, with other Things , the Goods and Mony of   Daniel Piercy ,   William Baker and   George Suttle , of the 27th of November last. Piercy depos'd, That the Prisoner was his Servant , and at her going away, he miss'd the Goods and Mony, and charging her with them, she confess'd that she had taken the Goods, and directed him to go to her Mothers, where he might find some of them in a Trunk of hers there, and told him of others which she had pawn'd, which, upon enquiry prov'd true. She likewise told him, That she had put 10s. of his in a Tub of Pickles, which he found accordingly; but the Evidence not proving any thing upon Hannah Evers, she was acquitted , and Elizabeth Evers found Guilty of the Felony.
