Mary Johnson , of the Parish of St. Giles in the Fields , was indicted for feloniously stealing two Worsted Camblet Coats from James Heming , on the 13th of October last. The first Evidence deposed, that she saw the Prisoner at the Door. and whilst she went to fetch a Pail of Water, the Prisoner went in and took the Goods; but pursuing her, brought her back again, and the laid them down where some other Goods were. She denied the Fact, saying she knew nothing of it, but could not call any to her Reputation. The Jury found her Guilty .
