Martha Lewin of the Parish of St. Giles without Cripplegate , was indicted for feloniously stealing an Indian Sattin Gown, and divers other Goods of Martha Roberts , and a silk Hood the Goods of John Mercer , on the 14th of September last. The Prosecutor deposed that the Prisoner was a Servant , and took the Goods, which she confest when taken and brought before the Justice.

She had nothing to say for her self, the Jury found her Guilty .
