William Goffe , and John Bedley, alias Bedlo , of the Parish of St. Clements , were Indicted for Felony and Burglary, for breaking the House of William Parsons , on the 20th of July last, between 10 and 11 in the Night, and taking thence a Damask silk Gown a Petticoat, 10 Guineas, a Pair of Silver-tabby-Stayes, a Velvet Hood and Scarf, a Suit of laced Head-cloaths, and divers other Goods : It appeared that the Goods were in a Box lockt up in a Closet, and the Prisoners came and helpt one another into the Balcony, and so they went and broke open the Closet door. and took the Goods, and sold them, and shared the Money; all which was fully proved against them, and they having little to say for themselves, the Jury found them both Guilty .
