Elizabeth Barnet and Ellinor Dic , both of the Parish of St. Leonard Shoreditch , were Indicted for breaking the House of Thomas Drew , on the 22d of July last, in the Day time no Person being therein, and taking thence a Hood, a Flaxen Sheet, a lac'd Cap, and 6 Pewter Spoons . The Prosecutors Wife deposed that she went down to the Alley Gate, and was not gone above half a quarter of an Hour, and coming back found the two Prisoners in her House, and the Goods bundled up, and that they were for making their Escape. But it did not appear they took any thing except a black Hood. The Jury having considered the Matter found them both Guilty to the value of 4 s.
