Jonas Sevatt , of the Parish of St. James Clerkenwell , was Indicted for Feloniously stealing a Horse-lock, value 4d. two Iron Keys, a staking Rope, and ten Geese , the Goods of Benjamin Hamond , on the 19th of December last. The Evidence deposed, that he took the Prisoner upon suspicion, with the Goods about him, and searching him found a Hen in his Coat-pocket, and another in his Breeches; and Mr. Hamond own'd, that he lost such Goods. The Prisoner made but a slight Defence for himself. The Jury found him Guilty to the value of 10d.
