Mary Shepherd and Ann Richardson , of St. Clements Danes , were Indicted for breaking the House of Joan Buthen , on the 12th of April , and taking 4 Muslen Cravats, and other Goods . It appeared, the Prosecutor having occasion to go abroad, lock'd her Door, and carried the Key with her; and a little after the Prisoners were seen to go into the House, which it was supposed they opened with a pick-lock Key, and come out again with each a Bundle, and went away; and afterwards part of the Goods were discovered at a Broker's Shop where they had pawn'd them. The Prisoners had little to say; they were found Guilty .
