William Jackson of St. Clements Danes was Indicted for picking the Pocket of Charles Baldwin Esq , on the 25th of March , of a Cambrick Handkerchief, value 3 s. 6 d. The Prosecutor deposed, that coming along Sheerlane the Prisoner jostled him up to the Wall, and took the Handkerchief out of his Pocket, which was found about him. He had little to say in his Defence, he was found guilty .
