John Dewin , of the Parish of St. Giles in the Fields , was indicted for High Treason, for counterfeiting the currant Coin of this Kingdom on the 6th of May last. The Evidence declared that they did see him help to finish some Counterfeit Money in Buckridge-street ; he was convicted the last Sessions for procuring of False Money, and had been a Dealer in this sort of Trade; the Jury thereupon found him guilty .
