John Plater , was Indicted for a Misdemeanor, for procuring great Quantities of small Money for less than it was in Tale, and putting it off for the full Tale. There was 600 l. all in such small Halfcrowns, that the like could scarcely be seen ; but there being a flaw in the Indictment, the Jury acquitted him.
