Robert Bragg and Thomas Coster , both of the Parish of St. Martins in the Fields , were indicted for the Murther of George Bowles on the 22d of January last, by giving him one Mortal Wound with a Sword, value 2 s. on the right part of the Belly, nigh the Groyne, of the breadth of an Inch, and of the depth of 4 Inches, of which he languished to the 28th, and then died . The Prisoners alledged that the Deceased was killed by a Serjeant, and that they knew nothing of it; the Jury acquitted them.
