Avis Barnet of the Parish of St. Sepulchres , was indicted for feloniously stealing from Ultra Boyne Widow , on the 20th of August last, and taking a Long Scarf, a Neck Scarf, Serge Gown and Petticoat, with divers other Goods . The Evidence did declare, that she did buy part of the Goods of the Prisoner. The Prisoner did not deny that she sold them, but said that she had them of a young Woman who did bring them to her; there were several people who did declare that the other Woman did offer the things to sell before, and that the Prisoner was of a very good Reputation. The Jury found her not guilty .
