Henry Hooper of the Parish of St. Andrews Holbourn was Indicted for Felony, for stealing a black Gelding on the fourth of February , from Sir Edward Atkins at South Picnam in Norfolk ; the Evidence said, That the Gelding was taken out of the stable, and it being put in the Gazette, was found near Grays-Inn-Lane in the Prisoners Custody, who offered it to sale; the Prisoner alledged that he changed a Horse with a man called Jeffery Land of Luddington the Monday following for this Gelding, but could not prove the same, so he was found guilty .
