Mary Jones of St. Giles Cripple-gate , was tryed for stealing 42 rds of Gold and Silver Lace, value 18 l. on the 26 day of ember last, the Prisoner (to put a better colour upon her gn) came to the Prosecutor's Shop in a Sedan; and after ing cheapened several pieces of Lace, she took away the of Lace above said , and the next day she was found in her Shop, playing the same prank, when being apprehended she confest the Fact, but denyed it upon the Tryal, she found guilty of Felony.
