Mary Mott , Tryed for killing her Male Infant Bastard Child , at Stepney , on the 21th. day of October last; the Evidence Swore that the Child was found Dead, lying in a Gutter, on the outside of the House, of one Richard Bradley's, who declared that he being Topping some Chimneys, saw the Child lying in the Gutter, on the Top of the house; and she owned the Child to be hers, and could not prove that it was still born, as she alledged; so she was found Guilty of willful Murther.
