Associated Records

Over 25,000 books and documents in Libraries and Archives which contain evidence relating to trials described in the Proceedings have been identified and recorded in the Associated Records database for the period from 1674 to 1834 (and later for some printed ephemera). Where information has been linked to a specific trial, it can be accessed from the trial itself; the relevant trial can also be accessed from this database. Please be aware that the linkages between the trials and the Associated Records have been created by a largely automated process and are subject to a signficant degree of error.

This search page allows you to query the full associated records database independently. Approximately 25 per cent of the records in this database have not been linked to a trial; although these are included in these searches, the results will not include a trial reference number. You can refine your search by surname, offence, document type or description, library or archive, and time period.
